Yes we are here again – Anglia Business Exhibition 2016
Barton Electrical have been attending the Anglia Business Exhibition (or Suffolk Business Exhibition as it used to be known!) for many years and have seen it grow from small beginnings to become the biggest event of its kind in East Anglia.
This year’s event was the biggest yet with over 200 exhibitors along with special events such as a catwalk show and speed networking.
The theme for our stand this year was the ‘evolution of the electrician’. Gone are the days of a simple wiring job. We now have to factor in the use of data cabling, Smart home control systems with wireless and Bluetooth. The aim is to build the totally connected home. We showed some of the devices and services we offer to achieve this at ABE 16
We also were very pleased to announce our accreditation with the three top manufacturers of Electric Vehicle Charging Units – Rexel, Rolec & Viridian. Electric vehicles have been on the horizon for years but now it seems the technology is now at the point where the vehicles are viable and the reliability and range of them is viable. We are now accredited to fit the charging units for the top three manufacturers.
Thank you to everyone that visited the Barton Electrical stand, it was lovely to meet lots of new people as well as catching up with many familiar faces. There was a steady flow of visitors throughout the exhibition which generated a nice atmosphere around the venue. Luckily the weather was much better this year too after the torrential rain and strong winds that were inflicted on us last year!
It is always fantastic to see the wide variety of businesses that our region has to offer, especially when they are all under one roof. The exhibitors ranged from one man bands and start-ups right through to large companies and local authorities.
Graham Barton said “We have always been at the forefront of new technology and with the EV charging accreditation now achieved, we think that we have taken a massive step into the future”
Well done to the team at the Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA) for another hugely successful event. We hope that everyone else enjoyed it as much as we did.
